A Disciple

A disciple is a person who must be very careful not to fall into self- deception. We must not deceive ourselves because if we do not deceive ourselves, no one can deceive us. We are deceived only because of our own self- deception. A disciple must be aware of facts- facts about his physical, emotional, and mental nature. He must check himself to see if he is speaking the truth. Check your writings, and find out if you are writing something which you really know. When you are talking, check yourself to see whether you are hallucinating or whether you are talking about the real facts that you know. If anyone is talking to you, do not swallow his words like pills. Check them; test them; use discrimination. A disciple is an awake person. When he goes to the market, he does not follow post hypnotic suggestions planted in his mind through advertisement. He knows exactly what to buy and why to buy it. If your life is based upon unreality, you cannot be a disciple. You cannot improve anyth...

SEVEN DYNAMICS

The third dynamic of the soul is the power to reveal. 4. The fourth dynamic of the soul is the power to balance. 5. The fifth dynamic is the power to actualize. 6. The sixth dynamic is the power to aspire. 7. The seventh dynamic of the soul is the power to synthesize.”- τσrкσм sαrαy∂αriαท ŞØỮŘĆ€: Dynamics Of The Soul, Chpt 2: Dynamics of The Soul, Pg: 37-49

OBSERVATION MAKES YOU A CAUSE

As long as you are identified with your bodies and with their changes, desires, and thoughts, you are an effect because they control you. But when you try to observe them, you become a cause. Detatchment comes through observation. In identification, you become one with the object. When you are one, you cannot observe. A disciple must be an observer. He must see things as they are, as they are going to be. He must observe things in action. He must observe himself in all his actions - physically, emotionally, and mentally. When you observe, you will find among other things that your body is activated by outside force; your emotional body is the playground of many emotions ; your mental body is used by thoughts other than your own. This will give you the idea that they are vehicles and not your Self. You have an opportunity to detatch yourself, and your observation will make you a cause. Be a cause. Your education, money, and position do not mean anything from the viewpoint of your ev...
